We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can click here or contact us at contact@selfgaia.com. Please note that returns will need to go through our curation process.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Self Gaia OÜ is committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. If you need to return or exchange a product, the guidelines below apply in accordance with European Union consumer protection regulations.


1. Right of Withdrawal (Return Due to Change of Mind)

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, customers have the right to withdraw from online purchases within 14 calendar days after receiving the order.

Conditions for Return

To qualify for a withdrawal return:

  • The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and with all included accessories.

  • The customer must request the return within 14 days of receiving the order.

How to Request a Return

Open a return request here with:

  • Order number

  • E-mail

  • Reason for return

Our support team will reply within 2 business days with instructions for returning the item.

Return Shipping Costs

  • For returns made within the 14-day legal withdrawal period, Selfgaya OÜ covers the return shipping cost.

  • The customer will receive a prepaid return label to print and drop off at the designated courier point.

Refunds

  • Credit/debit card payments: The refund will be processed back to the same card. Processing may take up to 14 days after the return is approved, depending on the customer’s bank.

  • Bank transfer payments: Refunds will be issued to the bank account provided by the customer within 14 days after approval of the return.


2. Product Exchanges

If the customer wishes to exchange an item for another model, color, or variation, the process follows the same steps as a standard return.

After the returned product is received and approved, a new order will be shipped, depending on stock availability.
If the requested item is unavailable, the customer may choose an alternative product or receive a refund.


3. Products with Manufacturing Defects

If the product shows a manufacturing defect, the customer may request a replacement or refund within two years from the date of delivery, in accordance with EU warranty rules.

How to Request an Assessment

Send an email to contact@selfgaia.com including:

  • Order number

  • Detailed description of the issue

  • Photos or videos clearly showing the defect

Our team will review the case and provide instructions for the return shipping, which will be free of charge.

Refund or Replacement

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed:

  • The customer may choose a free replacement or a full refund

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days after confirmation

If the product is found not to have a manufacturing defect:

  • The item will be returned to the customer, unless they prefer to proceed with a standard withdrawal return (within the 14-day period).


4. Final Considerations

Selfgaya OÜ reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges for items that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

The two-year defect coverage refers to the EU legal warranty and does not extend the 14-day withdrawal period for returns based on change of mind.
